Image Analysis Group (IAG) is an expert medical imaging company, a global leader in clinical research, which involves medical imaging to measure efficacy and safety of new drugs. We provide the cloud-based image management platform (DYNAMIKA) and R&D services to support pharmaceutical companies developing new drugs. Through medical image analysis, we measure the new therapy impact and patient response. This response can be assessed by looking at the volume of a tumour in CT scans or degree of blood perfusion in MRI.
IAG’s proprietary software platform, Dynamika supports all imaging data logistics in a multi-centre trial setting, automates many labour intense routines and speeds up the imaging data analysis with AI-driven methodologies.
We have released the 3rd generation platform (GCP and Microservices) and it has become the software of choice for many biotech and pharma companies around the world.
We are looking for a Technical Team Lead / Head of Engineering that will
- report to CPO and manage all technical aspects of the development (dev, test, release, quality).
- manage in-house developers and a larger offshore team.
- full ownership of the technical deliveries as well as responsibility for the whole groups software portfolio.
Our priority is to deliver high quality software on time and on budget, as the use of DYNAMIKA support development of live saving medicines and literally impacts lives of patients.

This is a very much hands-on position, as you will own the software development, quality and have direct impact on business success.
Key duties:
- Managing both in-house and offshore development team.
- Take input from Operations, Product, R&D teams and make sure that we deliver optimal solutions to our clients.
- Hire, train and support software engineers, QA’s, DBA’s and technical analysts
- Working with both internal and external clients (strong communication skills are needed)
- Ensure project documentation is completed and product is compliant (ISO 13 485). Clear understanding of FDA requirements for clearing FDA510k products; understnding of CE mark.
Experience required:
- Hands-on experience in development of highly scalable user-facing platform(s), at least 5 years.
- Revelant education or work experience (references from the previous place of work will be required).
- Leading and managing performance of our large outsourced and in-house development team efficiently – JIRA or similar.
- Managing GCP server configurations.
- Managing software development in ISO13 485 enviroment; ability to release FDA510k products or endpoints.
- MUST Have: Understnding DICOM standard, medical imaging and previous experience in data management and analysis of large medical imaging data sets
- Knowing data management in Asia, China would be a plus
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining a single roadmap for the development.
- Ability to recognize issues in the development early and act on them.
- Ability to direct and hold software dev team accountable.
- Working directly with the COO and CPO to implement effective workflows, processes, and planning strategies.
