Mette Mogensen, MD, PhD, Assoc. Prof., Chief Consultant in Dermatology, Dept. of Dermato-Venereology Bispebjerg Hospital, University Hospitals of Copenhagen, Denmark since 2015. Her interests are diagnostic imaging of skin cancer and inflammatory skin diseases; creating a novel platform for image-guided treatment of skin disease. Heads the section of Connective tissue and Autoimmune Skin disease and Genodermatosis, close collaboration with Rheumatologists in the field of SLE, dermatomyositis and systemic sclerosis. Provides on-site Dermatology service in arctic Greenland. Affiliated with Faculty of Health Sciences, Clinical Medicine, University of Copenhagen since 2014. Mette has more than 20 years of medical and clinical dermatological experience and is skilled in conducting clinical trials in dermatology - taking new devices from bench to bedside and working with technologies such as nailfold video capillaroscopy, high-frequency ultrasound, in vivo reflectance and fluorescence confocal microscopy, photoacoustic imaging and OCT.
