Dr Luc Biedermann has been a board certified specialist in Gastroenterology & Hepatology since 2012, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He has been Head of IBD, USZ since August, 2017 and Head of the Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) outpatient clinic of the USZ with Prof. Alex Straumann since 2016.
Amongst the main clinical and research interests are epidemiology, natural history and course of IBD, clinical trials in IBD, intestinal microbiota in IBD, environmental factors in IBD, fecal transplantation and recurrent Clostridium difficile infection, celiac disease and of course EoE.
